COMMUNITY ACTIVITY

AM&G and the Rivera family have given their support to numorous local organizations. The company’s philosophy has always been to make sure everyone has the same access to opportunity.

It was Gilbert Rivera who, until his passing in 2007, established AM&G’s philosophy of local philanthropy.  Now spearheaded by William Rivera, AM&G has contributed time and financial resources to organizations like the Bedford YMCA, the 79th, 88th, and 73rd Police Precincts, The Girl Scouts, The Boy Scouts, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, the National Hispanic Business Group, the March of Dimes, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and many others.

AM&G and the other companies the Rivera family have founded have become a source of economic development in their Brooklyn neighborhoods, offering employment opportunities to the community. AM&G is proud of the difference the company has made with its long-term commitment to support children’s programs, community services, and New York’s cultural institutions.
